Hello! My name is Jenn and I am the mom behind Original Mama. After a very enjoyable cooporate career, I became a stay at home mom. I’ve always been an artsy and creative person so I started making my own cloth diapers a little while after our son was born. He was born with a nerve issue called Hirschsprung’s Disease which required surgery to remove part of his intestine and included a lengthy healing process. I began tie dyeing fabrics and garments to make super cute diapers and the clothes turned out so cute that lots of people wanted me to make things for them! I love to tie dye and it’s keeping me so busy that I really don’t have any time to make diapers anymore!
